The first group of 3 people started off from Saint Petersburg on 25 December at 9:30 AM and moved towards Karelia along the [[:w:en:A121 highway (Russia)|A121 'Sortavala' highway]]. The objects in the Leningrad oblast's northern parts on the way were also very interesting for the group.
